Lies

"Unfortunately, the products you wanted are no longer available from Gretsch", that is what David Ash told me in the previous email on October 31, 2000 (page 17).

We have below five different sources including someone who works for Gretsch to prove that the snare drum is still being manufactured, therefore we have the proof that David Ash is a liar and that he doesn't want to send me the items I paid.
David Ash mentioned "the productS from Gretsch"; since the other Gretsch products are lugs and hoops, there is absolutely no doubt that these items are still available, they are mounted on every tom that Gretsch produces.

Hello Dominique...
All I can tell you is that the G4166BC 6x14 Brass 20-lug snare ($900 retail) is STILL listed in the 2000 price list. There has been times when that particular drum has been back-ordered. I don't have immediate access to that info, but if it's listed in the price list that means that orders will be taken.
Hope that info has some value.
John Alfieris

Regarding the rims mounts, I bought them in France on November 28, 2000 and you can find them at Midwest Percussion too (see below), so nobody can say they are not available.
